Stuck for something to do during the Easter holidays with the kids?
There’s a whole two weeks to fill with interesting activities to tire them out, sorry, engage them and entertain them.
The Harris Museum and Art Gallery are doing their best to help you out with four different events which are all completely free.
Hands On at the Harris: The Preston Lamb
Saturday 12 April, 1.30-3.30pm
Ewe’ll love finding out about the history of our proud city’s symbol and make your own sheepish creations.
Hands On at the Harris: Egg-citing Eggs
Tuesday 15 April, 1.30-3.30pm
Have a look at the tradition of egg rolling and create an egg-citing design.
Tell it with your Hands
Wednesday 16 April, 11am-12pm & 1-2pm
What can your hands say? Explore how our hands tell a story or express emotion.
Artists Emotive Matters will show families how to turn their hands into puppets. Interpreted in British Sign Language with a lip speaker. Places are limited and can be booked on 01772 905414
Arty Explorers: Animal Safari
Thursday 17 April, 10.30am-12.30pm
Arty kids will love going on an animal safari in the art galleries, and then they can create their own masterpiece.
The Harris is open every day over Easter apart from Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday.
