Steam engine running on the Ribble Steam Railway

Ribble Steam Railway on Preston Docks has annouced four days of steam train fun over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.


The event takes place on the Docklands railway over from 18 April to 21 April.

It starts from 11am up to 4pm. The workshop and cafe will also be open.

No booking necessary and day tickets allows travel as often as you like on the three mile return trip across the dock and alongside the banks of the River Ribble.

The Museum and Workshop are included plus a fun Easter Egg Hunt which involves finding hidden eggs around the railway. Eggs will be hidden in locomotives and down the track during train rides. The eggs provide answers to the Easter Egg quiz for the kids.

Fun and games for children of all ages,

Tickets are £6 for adults, £4 for children and £18 family. Tickets are valid all day on all trains. Free parking.
