Have a patriotic St. George’s Day and celebrate the best in English food at Heathcotes Brasserie.
As ever, Paul Heathcote’s head chef Carl Noller has created a wonderful and seasonal sounding three course menu inspired by English produce for you to enjoy on the day.
On 23 April why not treat yourself to Roast tomato soup with Marmite toast, or Heathcotes black pudding with sweetbreads.
Or classic but bound to be gourmet Scampi and Chips in a basket with condiments and tracklements. Liver and bacon makes a showing with Pressed roast Goosnargh Chicken.
A visit to Heathcotes is not complete without a taste of his specialty Bread and Butter Pudding. Or be really patriotic with a slate of Lancashire cheese.
Only £27.50 per person. Included is a free half bottle of wine or for £4 extra special St George’s Day English Wareside Bacchus 2011 wine from winemakers David and Daphne Briscoe.
