CCTV picture released after bike theft at Preston station

British Transport Police are investigating a bike theft at Preston station.

The theft happened around 3.10pm on Monday 24 March on platform seven at Preston Railway Station.

Transport police investigations isolated CCTV of a man they believe has information about the incident.

PC Adam Heslop said: “The offender cut the lock on the victim’s bike and, pushing the bike, ran to a nearby train and travelled to Salford Crescent.

“I am certain the man in the CCTV image has information about the incident and I ask anyone who recognises him to come forward.

“Similarly, if you have any further information about incident please get in touch.”
