Bus diversions as Friargate closes for the Lancashire Market

The Lancashire Market, taking place along Friargate in Preston today, will affect traffic including bus users as the street is closed down for the day.

On Saturday 19 April Friargate will be closed to traffic from 4am to 7pm.

Affected bus routes will be diverted via Corporation Street outbound, and inbound to the bus station Walker Street, Lawson Street, Tenterfield Street (Ringway underpass) and Ormskirk Road.

Temporary bus stops will be placed on Walker Street and Lawson Street.

The services affected are: 23, 31/31A, 35, 44.
