A three day beer and sausage festival takes place on the outskirts of Preston in May.
During the Bank Holiday weekend the second Whittingham Beer and Sausage Festival is hosted by the Preston North Rotary and Whittingham Club.
More than 50 local ales and ciders are to be on draught plus local gourmet sausages for tasting.
The organisers state: “We also like to add (at least) 5 or 6 interesting beers at the last minute so you never quite know everything that we’ll end up with – but we’ll certainly be sourcing the best brews from the north west region again this year.
“As well as a superb range of 50 local real ales and ciders, we will be serving a selection of locally produced gourmet sausages, cooked to order to keep your appetite in check. With seven varieties from Goosnargh Duck to Black Pudding and Chicken as well as traditional Old English Pork, we’re bound to have something to suit your taste.
“Our usual bar will also be open serving our usual great range of drinks. The Beer Fest also has a drivers bar providing lemonade, cola and soda water free of charge.”
The festival runs from 7pm to 11pm on Friday 2 May and then 1pm to 11pm on Saturday 3 May and Sunday 4 May.
