Lancashire Police are appealing directly to Robert to get in touch.

They believe he may have travelled to the Merseyside area.

Inspector Bilal Mulla, of Preston Police, said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for Robert as it is now almost 36 hours since he was seen. I would appeal for anyone who sees anyone matching his description or knows where he might be to get in touch with us.

“I would also appeal directly to Robert himself if he sees this appeal to contact us to let us know he is safe.”

Robert is described as white, five ft 10ins tall, medium build with dark hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue jumper, blue Adidas tracksuit bottoms and green and black trainers. He was possibly carrying a large black holdall.

Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting log number 0655.
