Good news for bike fans as Evans Cycles locates a new store in Preston.

Evans was established in 1921 and is the UK’s largest quality cycle retailer with over 50 stores nationwide. The popularity of the sport and activity of cycling gave Evans Cycles the chance to expand outside its core “heartland” of the South East of England.

The new store at the North Road Business Park in the city marks Evans first venture in Lancashire.

Evans opened its first store in 1921 on Kennington High Street in London and has many outlets throughout the country.

In October 2006 Evans launched Pinnacle Bikes, after a number of years in development. The Pinnacle range is developed by and is exclusive to Evans Cycles

The store launched Ride It! Their own series of organised mountain bike and sportive road bike events. The Evans Cycles Ride It series of organised road and off-road rides designed to take the hassle out of weekend riding.

Evans Cycles are also members of the Ride2Work Scheme, to encourage people to get out and cycle.
