A reminder that Lancashire born author Jo Baker will be at Waterstones bookstore in Preston to sign copies of her new book Longbourn on 30th March.

Her new novel provides an alternative angle to Pride and Prejudice and was reviewed by The Guardian as ‘A triumph’.

In Longbourn Jo takes you beyond the drawing rooms of Jane Austen’s classic—into the overlooked domain of the housekeeper and kitchen maid and the daily particulars faced by the lower classes in Regency England. She creates a vivid, fascinating, fully realized world that is wholly her own. Pride and Prejudice was only half the story.

Why not pop along and have a chat with Jo and get a copy of your book signed.
