Two cars damaged after fire at Skeffington Road garage

Fire crews in Preston have been fighting a blaze involving three cars at a Ribbleton garage.

At 4.27pm on Thursday two crews from Preston Fire Station were called to a garage on Skeffington Road.

One car has been severely damaged by the fire, and a taxi has severe damage to its engine compartment.

The garage itself had severe smoke and water damage, after the crew from Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service were called out.

Fire crews used four sets of breathing apparatus while tackling the blaze.
