The Museum of Lancashire is hosting a day of remembering the Indian soldiers who fought in the two world wars.
An exhibition by Jahan Mahmood explores the history of the India’s military traditions.
Between 10.30am and 3.30pm on Wednesday 19 February there will be a collection of First World War and Second World War military clothing and objects on display.
This session will take place at the Museum of Lancashire.
In the evening, Jahan will show a short film and give a lecture that highlights the valuable contribution made by Indian soliders in both Great Wars.
Mahmood is a former history lecturer at the University of Birmingham and is now an independent community and military historian.
