Police appeal after girl touched by man in Walton-Le-Dale

Preston Police are appealing for any information after a 13 year old girl was inappropriately touched by a man while walking walked home with a friend in Walton le Dale last week.

The incident happened at about 3.10pm on 20th February 2014. A a man followed the girl and her 17 year old friend as they returned from shopping along a footpath on Holland House Road.

The offender is described as being white, aged between 25 and 30 years old, tall, and stocky build. He had ginger or brown spikey hair with facial stubble and was wearing a blue fleece and blue jeans.

PC Rachael Jackson said: “This is clearly a disturbing incident which left both girls upset.

“I would appeal to anybody that knows the man responsible to contact me, PC 3598 Jackson on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.” Always ring 999 in an emergency.
