A fitting tribute to Preston’s footballing hero.

A call has gone out to the Proud People of Preston, and Finney fans world wide to remember the legend that is Sir Tom, with a museum in his memory.
Admins Nick Lenehan and Kevin Riding set up a Facebook page in a memorial to Finney after standing at his ‘Splash’ statue outside the historic Preston North End stadium over the weekend.
They thought converting the old National Football Museum, mothballed after the controversial move to Manchester, into a Tom Finney Muesum would be ideal as a lasting monument to Sir Tom and wondered if fellow Prestonians would agree.
A great idea for a lasting memorial for perhaps the greatest Prestonain who ever lived. If you agree like their page and share the link.
The Facebook page was founded on 17 February and already has over 3,000 likes
