Show your support for our Armed Forces and Veterans by volunteering or hosting your very own event.
Preston Councillor and Armed Forces Champion Drew Gale is asking for people interested in exhibiting or performing on Preston Armed Forces Day this year on 28th June 2014.
A celebratory event, it will have acts, stalls and entertainment throughout the day. aimed at younger people with an emphasis on education and fun.

Armed Forces Day is held annually on the last Saturday of June, providing the nation with a dedicated day when people can come together to show their appreciation and support of the Armed Forces.
The first National Armed Forces Day was held on 27 June 2009 at Historic Chatham Dockyards which was complemented by hundreds of smaller events in towns and cities across the UK.
Their website is currently undergoing revision to includes details on how to publicise your event and how to purchase Armed Forces Day materials.
