Updated: Police have confirmed George has been found safe and well
Police looking for missing Preston man George Mayo have released a CCTV picture of the last time he was seen.
Mr Mayo was reported missing from an address on Whittingham Lane on Tuesday around 11.30am.
Detectives have now released a picture of him at Preston Bus Station at 12.40pm the same day.
Concern is growing for Mr Mayo as police say he needs regular medicine, which they don’t believe he has access to.
The 45-year-old is described as being stocky build with receding black hair and a moustache. He has brown eyes and a Scottish accent.
George Mayo has been reported missing
Inspector Wendy Fitzgerald said, “Mr Mayo requires regular medication which we don’t believe he has access to and so concerns are growing for him the longer he is missing.
“Although he could still be in the Preston area, there is the possibility that he may have travelled out of the area as well so we would urge people all over the country to be vigilant and to report any sightings to police as soon as possible.”
