Demolition will roll on if the council approve the construction firms plans

A Brookfield warehouse is to be demolished by a construction firm.

Kiernan Construction on the Rough Hey Industrial Estate have applied for permission to demolish the building off Longridge Road.

They want to create some car parking spaces and an area of hard standing.

The plans state they no longer need the warehouse and can use external storage space instead.

The Rough Hey estate forms part of the larger Red Scar industrial area on the edge of Ribbleton.

Anyone wishing to comment on the application can view the plans on the council website and do so.
