Sticky Chops. Another casualty of the current financial climate?

If you are popping into the city for a quick bite to eat and fancy a great burger or grilled chicken at ‘Stickies’ you will be disappointed. Apparently, the place has been closed for a while.

Opened about a year ago by Preston-born footballer Richie Allen the restaurant on Miller Arcade specialised in flamed grilled chicken, ribs, chops, burgers and skewers. It was also a live music venue hosting several local bands and artists.

It had a fun interior decked out with all kinds of musical instruments and artifacts. All gone. Looking inside today all tables and chairs have been removed as well as the counter. The interior is practically empty.

The last update on Facebook was back in November as was the last review on Tripadvisor – a 5 star recommendation.

If Sticky Chops has come to a sticky end and stopped trading, we don’t know why. We have been unable to contact the owners for comment.
