Penwortham Gala 2014 dates announced

Taking part in the Gala Queen competition
The date for this year’s Penwortham Gala has been announced.

An annual celebration of the town it sees processions through the streets and the crowning of a Gala King and Queen.
Saturday 14 June and Sunday 15 June will be the dates for a weekend of entertainment.
Penwortham Town Council is now asking for residents to help with the event.
Anyone wishing to have a stall, man a float in the procession or be in a walking group in the procession should
Over 10,000 people are expected to take part in events throughout the weekend.
