Over the past couple of months I have been helping Deepdale and St Georges Community organisation CRaB (which stands for communities, residents and businesses) to set up a new website.

The idea behind this new site is to provide an online hub of community information, containing useful details about local services, meetings,
events and news about the progress of CRaB projects.

The local Policing Team will be updating the site with important information about crime and community safety in the area. When complete the site will also contain a directory of local businesses.

There is also a gallery of photos showing CRaB events from the past few years. The new site is now up and running, why not have a look around?

The site is currently sponsored by local business Portland Management Company, and CRaB hope to cover the future costs of maintaining the website with the help of other local businesses.

The group are keen to get feedback on the site and are open to suggestions on what else should be included. You can also find CRaB on twitter, under the username @deepdale_CRaB, the group also plans to start running a Facebook page.
