Man treated for smoke inhalation after New Hall Lane fire

A man has been treated for smoke inhalation after a fire on New Hall Lane.

A crew from Preston Fire Station and an ambulance were called to the flat at 3.27pm on Friday.

The fire started with a pan on the cooker and firefighters had to use a ventilation unit and oxygen theraphy.

There was slight smoke damage to the kitchen and the lounge.
