Chinese New Year will be celebrated in Preston on Friday.
A giant dragon with dancers will make their way through the indoor and outdoor markets.
The Year of the Horse is to be celebrated with drummers joining the parade.
The parade starts at 10.30am on Friday 31 January and the celebrations last until 1pm.
There will be three 20 minute parades starting at 10.30, 11.30 and 12.30.
Mayor of Preston, councillor Veronica Afrin, said “This is a great reason to visit Preston Market. As always there are great stalls on the market but there will be such a buzz about the place for this special event with special Chinese produce available to help celebrate this important event.
“The parades will be great with such bright colours on show and the drums will add to the atmosphere.”
It’s free to attend and anyone visiting will be provided with small free gifts to help celebrate.
If you’re going along to the celebrations and take pictures add them to the Preston Flickr group.
