A centre in Preston providing respite care to children with learning disabilities is calling for unwanted Christmas gifts.
The Space Centre in Ashton, which was nearly closed earlier this year due to a lack of funds, said it will use any surplus gifts to raise money.
Fundraising co-ordinator Hilary Holden said: “People do get unwanted gifts at Christmas. We would be so grateful for any donations.
“Last year when we did this appeal we had so much it took us through the year almost.”
Gifts will go on fundraising stalls at events throughout the year or used as raffle prizes at events.
