Don’t forget today is your last chance to find all 32 Advent Angels hiding in shop windows in the city centre.

The Central Methodist Church organised this fun community event and hoped to make shopping more fun in the run up to Christmas this year.

Joining forces with city centre shops and businesses members have placed 32 lovely made angels in various shop windows throughout the main shopping area. Christmas shoppers young and old, armed with an entry form, hunt the angels and note down the angel number and the name of the shop/business as they shop throughout December. Prizes and certificates are awarded to those who manage to find the hiding angels!

ā€œItā€™s an opportunity to build community spirit, to have fun and to see people of all ages taking partā€ said Rev Sue Griffiths, Minister of the church,

ā€œIn a small way it reminds us of the importance of Christmas and its amazing message – itā€™s a real community eventā€, she added.

You have to be quick but entry forms can still be obtained from the following locations:
The Olive Grove Coffee Shop, Central Methodist Church , Lune Street
The Christian Resource Centre, Fox Street
Tourist Information at the Guildhall
or from the website at www.centralmethodist.org.uk/adventangel .

The church will also be giving clues on twitter, follow them @preston_church.

The last day is Saturday 21 December with the prize draw taking place on Sunday 22 December at 10:30
