Nikki says her inspiration for starting the fashion business was during a search for outfits for job interviews.

She said: “The business came about when I was shopping for clothing to wear for job interviews and finding that there was barely anything on the high street for bigger boobs, and what was available was very expensive or aimed at an older lady.”

After Nikki ended her modelling career she took her discovery of the lack of fashion dedicated for girls with bigger boobs and produced the popular clothes line The BigBarBra in 2011, which sold lingerie, swimwear and other clothing from multiple brands to ladies in the UK.

Following this, Nikki decided to re-brand the company and named it Made in Preston.

The business changed from selling other brands, to producing their own high quality products.

Nikki always had a distinct plan, with Bravissimo being the only other brand on the market that catered for the bigger breasted ladies; she knew what her target audience wanted to be.

She said: “We wanted to focus it on one section of the market, 16-30 year old ladies with bigger breasts, although we get woman over 30 buying from us, our main aim is for woman between 16-30 years.”

The company has expanded quickly since its start in June and Nikki says they are fast becoming a well-known name in the fashion world.

Nikki and her team keep their focus on producing high quality, affordable, fashionable lingerie, swimwear, dresses and tops.

She said: “We want sexy dresses, bold colours and fashionable fabrics and we want them to fit. So girls, that’s what we’re giving you.”

All the clothes are made and produced in a facility located in Preston and the workforce are all locally based.

Nikki said: “It’s our commitment to Preston to bring back pride in our local heritage, and when our customers buy their clothes from us, they are contributing to that.

“We do notice if someone has ordered frequently, we do try make sure our loyal customers are well looked after.”
