Some of Preston’s leading authors will be reading a collection of ghost stories at the Harris Museum and Art Gallery.

Jenn Ashworth, author of Cold Light and A Kind of Intimacy, will be joined by Tom Fletcher, Richard Hirst and Emma Jane Unsworth, in a special evening event to celebrate the launch of The Longest Night – Five Curious Tales.

On Wednesday 11 December the lights will be dimmed at the Harris and the temperature will drop a notch.

For £4 you can hear the award-winning authors tell their spooky tales.

Young people aged 12 and over are welcome with accompanying adults.

The event starts at 7 pm and refreshments will be available.

Tickets can be bought from Eventbrite or call 01772 905 414.
