A city centre arts venue and cafe bar in Preston invites you to a magical storytelling journey.

Get in the festive mood as Theatre By Numbers brings to Korova Arts Café & Bar ‘Yuletide Tales’, a family event open to all.

TBN’s last event for 2013 takes you through re-imagining classics, a journey through stories old and new with Preston based writer Lindsay Avery.

As they explain: ‘Join our mystical traveller accompanied by her loyal minstrel as they tell their stories filled with recognisable characters and magical moments, Yuletide Tales brings to life those stories we will be telling until the end of time.

‘Rose has collected many stories on her travels through many lands with her enchanting companion and musician, Rafe.  As they shelter from the cold December night, on their way to a very unique Christmas, they pause to tell of their journeys and the magical characters they have met.  Stories of danger, friendship and hope, that have inspired our visiting travellers, telling all they meet their wonderful tales.’

Audience participation is encouraged as the TBN team invite you to exercise your Christmas creative side and perhaps take home a masterpiece to treasure.

The show also features music from local musician Tom Woolsgrove.
