The Police Cadets will operate a stall at Preston Market delivering advice on the prevention of crime and trying to raise money to take the cadets away for an activity weekend. You will also have a chance to talk to them about the Police Cadets scheme itself.

Open to people aged 13-18 living in Lancashire the scheme gives youngsters the chance to experience the full spectrum of policing within Lancashire, while carrying out fundraising challenges.

Being a Police Cadet opens up lots of opportunities and helps develop skills. There are 48 Police cadets based at Preston who meet weekly at Preston College and learn about the various departments within the Police force and the work that Police officers carry out.
