Preston Remembrance Day service to be held at newly restored Cenotaph

The city is set to pay its annual respects to those who lost their lives in conflict.

The Remembrance Day parade takes place on Sunday 10 November.

It starts from 10.25am at the Birley Street entrance of the Town Hall and makes its way to the Flag Market.

The newly restored Cenotaph is to be the focus of the Service of Remembrance from 10.30am.

A minutes silence will be held at 11am.

The service is expected to last until 11.45am.
