The dbee team
Three Preston tech entrepreneurs are heading for San Francisco to show off their own social network.
Creators of dbee, Guy Flintham, Adam Jones and Andrew Green created the social network for businesses over a coffee in their local Starbucks.
From there they have secured a place at the Oracle Open World show in the States and are jetting off to explain their business.
CEO Guy Flintham said, “Just 18 months ago whilst chatting over a coffee in our regular Starbucks haunt, we couldn’t have dreamt that our tiny seed of an idea would be recognised by such tech giants as Oracle. We have seen our creative vision for social media being discussed by some serious big hitters in Silicon Valley and now have them looking at ways to integrate us into their operations. It is a truly exciting time for our small passionate team.”
The business has been supported by the University of Central Lancashire’s Media Factory which is home to the business start up unit Northern Lights.
dbee allows businesses to create a customisable social network for their customers, suppliers and experts.
