Preston Christmas lights on Flag Market

Preston’s Christmas Lights switch-on will take place on Saturday 16 November.

A stage will be constructed outside the Harris Museum and celebrations begin from 5.30pm.

The event, where an as yet unknown celebrity will switch on the lights, lasts for two hours. The full line-up has been announced, you can view it here.

Tenor Russell Watson and former X-Factor winner Matt Cardle performed and helped turn on the lights in 2012.

Preston’s Business Improvement District (BID) organise and fund the event.
