M6 collision results in young girl taken to hospital

A child has been taken to hospital following an accident on the M6 northbound.


Fire crews from Bamber Bridge and Fulwood were called to Junction 30 at 1.20pm on Sunday after a collision.

A car carrying three people had collided head-on with a crash barrier.

A spokesman for Lancashire Fire and Rescue service said the five-year-old girl had sustained slight head injuries.
