The road currently has a 20mph speed limit and the one-way condition goes as far as the junction with Holmfield Road.

The extension would take the one-way along the front of Kennington Primary School.

A decision on whether to approve the change is due by Friday 8 November and will be made by county councillor John Fillis who is responsible for highways and transport.
