Interfaith Week (IFW) 2013 (in England, N Ireland and Wales) will be held Sunday 17th November – Saturday 23 November. Preston will be celebrating with an inspiring programme of events throughout the week to enable people to explore Preston’s multifaith cultures and traditions.
This year’s theme is based on ‘Faith & Health’ and the opening event will be held at Preston Royal Hospital, 17 November, 1pm – 4pm, to mark the launch of IFW.
A consultation workshop event ‘Faith in the Community – Partnership in tackling local poverty’, 20 November, Town Hall, 9.30 – 2pm, is being held to look at how the Faith Communities and Statutory Bodies work together to tackle poverty and need in Preston today.
