What to try something rather unusual in October? Preston Grasshoppers rugby club is holding a special sports night like you’ve never seen before. Welcome to Rollapaluza Roller Racing.

Rollapaluza is a unique cycle sport and it’s coming to the famous rugby club on 18th October. The event sees Two cyclist’s battle it out on a pair of Rollapaluza rollers connected to a giant dial over a simulated distance of 500m at speeds in excess of 50mph!

Although star riders will make an appearance to show you how it’s done the event is open to all to have a go. Get on the bike, battle your rival and beat his score accompanied by music, MC and cheering crowds.

The admission price of £10 includes food (sausage or bacon butty and chips) and tickets can be bought at the door on the night or in advance from the club manager Richard Ellis.

Should be a fun night and quite a spectacle.

Tickets: £10 available from at PGRFC or pay on the day

Date: 18th October
Time: 7.30pm – 11.30pm
Venue: Preston Grasshoppers RUFC
