On Sunday, the Run Preston event returned to the city and once again people turned out in force for this popular event.

Three courses had been set up around the city catering for runners of all abilities. The event got off to a great start with a 2k Fun Run at 9.30am. This was quickly followed by the 10k run at 10.00am and a 5k run followed at 11.30am.

The weather was kind, well for spectators at least. It was perhaps a bit warmer than expected for the runners but hundreds made the effort and many supporters shouted encouragement as the runners made their way around the City.
