A city centre park cafe ha been given a new name and a re-launch.
The Pavilion Cafe at Avenham Park is now run by Tribourne Catering Services who have signed a ten year deal with Preston City Council.
Manager Louise Westwood has re-jigged the menu, and it continues to offer free WiFi.
Mayor of Preston, councillor Veronica Afrin, said of the relaunched cafe: “The Pavilion Café is wonderfully situated in the heart of Avenham & Miller parks and is a peaceful haven away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre.
“A very popular meeting point with good food and friendly staff and I am delighted to re-open the Pavilion Café today.
“The future is very bright and exciting as Avenham and Miller parks have recently been granted a licence to hold weddings and civil partnership ceremonies. I couldn’t think of a more beautiful setting.”
