Woodplumpton Parish Council have applied for permission to host a battle re-enactment as part of their annual fete.

The Woodplumpton fete takes place every year and featured a battle re-enactment last year.

Funded by the Parish council, who approved £1,500 of funding for it in July, it will also feature stalls and food.

The fete takes place on Saturday 7 September at The Orchard playing fields in the village.
