Police are hunting a man who indecently assaulted a woman at her home in Ribbleton.
The incident took place at 1.30am on Sunday 30 June when the victim returned from a night out.
She entered her home in Maple Grove only to find a man approaching her house and knocking on the window.
He was wearing a white tracksuit top and carrying a bottle of beer.
She opened the door and the man asked to come in before making a crude remark and then reached out and touched the woman’s breast over her clothing.
She was able to force the door shut and the man left the scene.
He was described as white, in his early 20s, average build and 5’7″. He had very short strawberry blonde hair which was cut to 1cm long.
PC Iain Shrager said: “Although there may not have been many people around in the area at the time of the assault I would urge anyone who did see anything at all to come forward. Even if you didn’t see anything but you recognise the description of this man above, then please get in touch.”
