The Preston City Games took place in the city over the weekend.

Teams from businesses across Lancashire competed at the University of Central Lancashire’s Sports Arena off Tom Benson Way.

Accountants Whitehead and Aldrich were the big winners, they tweeted on the “sweet taste of victory”.

The event organised by the city council, Shout Preston and UCLan pits businesses and charities against each other in nine sports incuding basketball, netball and table tennis.

Photographer Paul Melling got a few snaps of the action from a gloriously sunny day of sporting action.
