The owners of a popular Penwortham Italian restaurants are looking to open a new venture in Fulwood.
Ettore Criscenti, the owner of Slice of Sicily on Priory Lane, has applied for permission to open a new cafe and bistro on Garstang Road.
The former shop just beyond the Black Bull pub will be the Fulwood version of the Penwortham eatery.
In application forms to the city council he writes: “It will be a cafe by day and a bistro by night with Italian delicatessen and pizzeria.
“We will sell panini, pizzas, pasta, home made seli products and wines.”
The site was previously a wine and delicatessen shop but closed down at the end of January.
