Hundreds of women will take to the grassy surroundings of Moor Park in June to raise money for cancer research.

The annual Race for Life takes place across the country and Preston will have its own 5k race.

Entry to the race costs £14.99 per adult and £10 per child (aged 6 to 15) and children under five are free.

Cancer Research UK say the entry costs are needed to cover the costs of organising and running the day.

The run takes place on Sunday 16 June from 11am.

Full details and how to enter are on the Cancer Research website.
