A centre for vulnerable people in the city centre hosts a summer fundraiser in June.
The Foxton Centre on Knowsley Street is inviting the people of Lancashire to visit and support it.
On Monday 10 June the centre will be open from 7pm to 10pm for entertainment, a two course dinner and on-site bar.
Shirah Bamber said: “The centre offers a safe place for vulnerable young people, the homeless and street sex workers in the city.
“We also run the Wet Garden which allows those with alcohol dependency to access the centre whilst drinking.
“Those that use the Wet Garden can behin rehabilitation in a safe environment and receive the support they need to stay safe when similar service providers would turn them away at the door.”
