An abandoned shop in Fishwick is set to be converted into flats.
The former store on the corner of Fishwick Parade and Lex Street could be extended and turned into new homes.
Plans submitted by the Medina Mosque, who bought the site, include a first floor extension to increase the size of an existing flat above the shop.
Documents submitted to the city council state: “It is proposed to change the use of the shop on the ground floor to living accommodation with the part demolition of the single storey annex to the rear of the property to create a yard are and create a first floor extension to increase the size of the existing rear bedroom and bathroom.”
