Mycho Independent Production Studios , based in Preston, are asking for funds to produce Thorn, a brand new horror feature.

Mycho began in film production almost 7 years ago with films such as Destination and Before The Dawn. They expanded to producing Music and putting on Events that promote both live music and Mycho’s own range of media.

According to their website Mycho look to produce the highest quality productions on the lowest possible budget and have experience in Independent No Budget Film Production. Horror fans may be glad to know that their last film, Slasher House, will be out to buy on DVD in some supermarkets and on Amazon from 29 April. The high concept feature was created, developed and shot on a tiny budget of just £5000. They say that ‘instead of relying on money to make our film great, we relied on ingenuity and creative thinking to bring the film to completion.’

The character of Thorn in the proposed new feature made his first film appearance in 2009 in the short film THORN.

They are offering a few incentives depending on the level of your donation. A £100 donation can make you a producer of the film. For £200 you can get killed by Thorn in the movie and for £500 you get the actual mask used on screen as well as a full screen credit in the film.
