A chance to have a permanent memory of the 2012 Preston Guild goes on sale next week.
AdvertisementThe Official Record is a full colour 250-page publication with photos, memories and facts about the celebration.
It starts with a historical lookback at previous Guilds, followed by insight into the planning and behind the scenes work from all the Guild team.
There are superb images of the Guild throughout along with case studies of individuals, companies and organisations involved.
The book also includes a full list of the Guild 2012 burgesses, honorary burgesses, procession participants, volunteers and steering group members.
If you want a copy you’ll need to move quick, pre-orders are available on the Preston City Council website or calling the Visitor Information Centre on 01772 253 731.
200 copies will be available, as 50 copies go to sponsors and dignitaries. A public copy will be kept in the Harris Library for all to view.
The Record costs £15 and pre-ordering via the web costs a £3.95 postage charge on top.
It officially goes on sale from Wednesday 17 April at the Visitor Information Centre on Lancaster Road.
