The Church Street curry house was full with diners helping raise money for Abaseen’s work
A charity night at a Preston curry house has helped to raise over £500 to help children in Pakistan.
East Z East was packed on Tuesday 9 April with curry lovers also taking part in a raffle which raised £120.
The Abaseen Foundation will use the money from the evening will go towards nutritional support for nearly 70 children in the region.Dr Nicola Lowe from the Foundation said: “The money raised will go a long way to support our health and education programmes that aim to improve the lives of the most poor and marginalised communities in North West Pakistan.”
Local businesses Barrica Wines, Finch Bakery, Huntley’s Farm Shop, Simon Dunn Chocolatier and Visa donated raffle prizes.
