Returning to Preston on 16 March – Tony McGuire’s Titanic exhibition.
After taking his display to the popular Irish Festival in Manchester starting on 8 March, Tony will be bringing his full R.M.S.Titanic Exhibition back to Preston at the Fishergate Shopping Centre.
Tony, a Lancashire-based Titanic fanatic, is famous for his extensive collection of Titanic related pictures and memorabilia. He has amassed a huge collection of items related to the ill-fated passenger ship that sank in 1912.
More than 1,500 people lost their lives when the passenger liner struck an iceberg and sank on her maiden voyage from Southampton to New York City on 15 April 1912.
Tony, who lives in Catterall near Preston, is a retired merchant navy steward and has been building his collection for more than a decade. He previously displayed his exhibition in Preston for the Guild celebrations last year.
It really is worth a look just to see the extent of Tony’s collection.
