Police have released an e-fit of a man wanted in connection with an attempted burglary in Fulwood.

Around 6am on Wednesday 20 February a man tried to climb through the downstairs window of a home on Fulwood Hall Lane.

He was disturbed by the occupant and ran.

He is described as being white, short, with brown hair, in his late twenties and wearing a dark coloured New York Yankees baseball cap.

Detective Constable Danny Greene said: “Fortunately this man was disturbed before he could gain access to the property.

“If anybody was in the area around the time of the attempted burglary and thinks they may have seen this man then I would ask them to contact police.

“Equally if anybody thinks they can identify the man in the Evofit then please come forward.”

Anybody with any information can contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or on-line at Crimestoppers-uk.org.
