Brightening up the dull early March streets of Preston I noticed a new splash of street art.
An amazing huge new mural on the side of a public city building. It looks like the work of Reasm, the artist partly responsible for the awesome ‘Happy Landings’ mural found on the university police house on Adelphi Street.
Reasm is a talented Preston based illustrator/graffiti artist and has been painting for about three years.
The new piece features Reasm’s trademark large graffiti letters as explained by himself in articles posted on the web. He has said that his design is based on the construction of visible graffiti letters and he is a fan of letters rather than the more effects based painting.
Reasm is also a regular contributor to the ever changing wall by Ships and Giggles (formally the Ship Inn) on Fylde Road in Preston.
I wont spoil the fun and say where this is located. It is in a prominent place in the city centre though. Not 100% sure how long it has been up so comments please as to when it was painted.
You can see more of Reasm’s work available on Flickr here
