A pub standing since the 1870s could become student flats after plans were lodged with the council.
The Tanners Arms on Adelphi Street and the corner of Springfield Street is in the heart of Preston’s student population. It’s been closed since late last year.
Two apartments will be created with five bedrooms in each, a lounge and kitchen.
A statement from the developers state they have no plans to provide parking at the site.

The Tanners is the latest pub to be converted into flats as we reported in January the Stephenson’s Arms was also to become residential properties.
